Monday, July 23, 2012 Architect Alex Meyers of MADesign has designed the remakable Colonie restaurant located in the historical Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of New York City, US.
Colonie Restaurant’s design is a unique, fresh, rustic look combining industrial and barnhouse elements spearheaded by architect Alex Meyers of MADesign. Colonie built the restaurant using as many recycled and repurposed materials as possible – the banquet is a recycled church pew, the ceilings, floors and tabletops are reclaimed wood, the bar mirror is a window frame from Manhattan’s Toy Building fitted with antiqued glass, and they fabricated the chandelier from a steel beam they found on the roof - Colonie Restaurant.

Where: Brooklyn Heights, New York City, US.
